Inside Our Umm Al Quwain Workshop: From Log to Installation
Every project starts the same way: raw timber arrives at our Umm Al Quwain workshop and gets assessed for grain, density and suitability against what it's being built for. Nothing goes into production until this selection step is done — it's the single biggest factor in how a finished piece turns out.
From there, sawmilling shapes the timber to the project's dimensions, followed by heat treatment where the end use calls for it — anything going outdoors, or anywhere moisture and insects are a concern.
Joinery and finishing happen in-house as well, which is deliberate. When sawmilling, treatment and finishing all happen under one roof, nothing gets lost in translation between separate vendors, and there's one team accountable for the piece from raw log to final finish.
Installation is handled by our own crews across the Emirates, not a third-party contractor — so the same standards that shaped the piece in the workshop carry through to how it's fitted on site.
