General Outdoor Projects
This beachfront bar is raised clear of the sand on solid timber posts, with a staircase climbing to a second deck up among the palm canopy so the space works as both a ground-level bar and a rooftop lounge over the water. The roof is hand-laid reed thatch, tied in tight rows across heavy beams to shade the deck through the day and still glow warm under string lighting at night. Down at the counter, the stools are cut from raw log slices rather than turned or bought in — each one keeps its own grain and shape, so no two seats match and none of it looks factory-made. Structure, roofing and furniture all came out of the same build, on site, to hold up against sun, salt air and sand.
