This rooftop bar started as a bare concrete shell and came together the same way all our outdoor fit-outs do — structure first, finish second. The counter is solid timber, heat-treated and sealed to handle spills and sun without lifting or greying, set under a reed-thatch roof built to shade the whole bar through the day. The lighting is hand-woven rattan, fitted pendant by pendant on site by our own install crew rather than dropped in as a kit — which is why it reads just as considered lit up at night as it does in daylight. Nothing here is off-the-shelf; it's built to the space, on site, by the people who built the bar itself.
